External floating roof drainage system

External floating roof oil storage tanks are widely used oil storage containers in petroleum enterprises. Due to the open upper part of the tank, rain and snow directly fall onto its outer surface. To prevent rain and snow from seeping into the tank from the sealed part of the floating ship or posing a threat to the floating ship, specialized drainage mechanisms, commonly known as floating roof central drainage systems or central drainage pipes, are installed. The central drainage system is an essential accessory for storage tanks. Once the tank is damaged and cannot be repaired during operation, it can only be taken out of service and wait for major repairs. Our company currently offers the following types of central drainage systems:
Fully flexible hose drainage system:
The fully flexible hose drainage system has no rigid pipes between the flanges of the entire drainage pipe connection. The inner wall surface of the flexible hose is continuous and smooth, ensuring maximum drainage capacity. The drainage system will not affect the free drift of the floating disc, and will not cause safety issues such as clamping due to angular deformation. During the operation of the floating roof tank, the hose has an automatic reset function. When the floating roof falls, the drainage hose should also fall back to its original installation position. The trajectory of the hose should not interfere with the attachments inside the tank such as pillars, and the support legs of the floating disc do not require special design or changes.
Rotary joint drainage system:
The rotary joint drainage system is currently the most widely used central drainage mechanism for storage tanks, suitable for the discharge of accumulated water on the top of various specifications of external floating roof tanks. This product adopts a structural type of steel pipe and rotary joint combination. Continuous slope design eliminates sediment retention. The sealing of the rotary joint can withstand pressure in both internal and external directions without leakage. This structure and its fixing device do not interfere with the internal structure of the tank. Reasonable structure, good sealing performance, safe and reliable, long service life, no need for maintenance.
Divided drainage system:
Referring to the structural design of similar foreign products, a combination of steel pipes and rubber metal composite hoses is adopted. It can ensure that the drainage system has a stable operating trajectory. Due to its modular structure, the required bending radius of the hose is large, reducing the possibility of hose fatigue failure and thus having a longer service life.
