Efficient large compensation mechanical seal

At present, in China, flexible soft foam is usually used to seal the floating roof and the tank wall. This structure relies on the elasticity of flame retardant foam to fill the gap between the floating roof and the tank wall. The sealing effect is good, and it can still maintain a good seal when the floating roof has a certain deviation. With the implementation of new national and industry standards and specifications such as GB31750, there are stricter requirements for the sealing of the annular space between the floating roof and tank wall of storage tanks storing volatile organic compounds. According to the new requirements, while the original elastic soft foam seal was upgraded to a liquid inlaid seal structure, our company designed a new type of mechanical seal, also known as the large compensation efficient seal system, with reference to foreign advanced technology, to solve the problem that the bottom of the seal was immersed in a liquid surface of about 30mm and the storage medium might enter the inside of the seal capsule during long-term use.
